I use ACT tools and techniques to guide my patient's in making better decisions for themselves. Not only does ACT highlight the importance of values, but it helps the individual to understand the implications of language and its impact on problem solving life's most complex issues.
CBT is the foundation of my approach to treatment. I aim to focus on the here and now, as it highlights the importance of mindfulness-based thinking which aids in alleviating percieved suffering.
My dedication to understanding attachment theory lead me to prioritize the corrective experience in working with my patients. I find what my patient's are truly craving in terms of interpersonal relationships, and aim to provide the corrective experience for them. With this, I find that they're able to interact in the world with greater ease and confidence.
