Danielle is also trained in a variety of other systemic models including Bowen, Solution-Focused, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT founded by Dr. Sue Johnson), and Collaborative therapy among others. For couples, EFT is the gold standard and when combined with behavioral modification tools like the Gottman Method - real change is possible. EFT allows us to explore underlying core emotions and attachment injuries to find where paths are being crossed so couples learn to understand and support one another in new ways.
Danielle has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a well-researched and empirically supported model for the treatment of trauma of all types including complex PTSD. EMDR can be applied to individuals, teens, or couples and allows for traumatic experiences to be desensitized and stored in more adaptive ways.
Depression impacts your ability to think, feel, function, and enjoy life and can become very destructive to your health and relationships. Danielle helps clients unmask the underlying causes of chronic depressive symptoms to reveal the resilience within.
Anxiety is often triggered by underlying emotional turmoil and can be treated with Emotionally Focused Therapy along with behavioral modification techniques that allow for better coping and improved functioning.
Attachment injuries are the core underlying hurts that impact us from childhood well into adulthood. These injuries impact our ability to firmly and securely attach to our adult romantic partners and can interfere with our self-image, self-esteem, relational motivations, and more. By addressing and releasing these underlying attachment wounds you can truly heal and become the person you've always wanted to be. Calm. Secure. Confident.
