How I Can Help You
Finding your solution to the challenges you are facing is a process with two parts. One, we need to understand what you are experiencing now and find ways to get some immediate relief. This includes exploring how to cope better, how to understand your actions and reactions, and how to manage your day-to-day. Two, we need to understand where this came from. There is a root to the problem and we have to find that and heal it so you can move forward with real relief in your life. There are several tools and strategies to help do this, including EMDR and suicide prevention frameworks. There is a solution. The first step is always the hardest. Why I Became a Therapist
We are so good at pointing out what is wrong. Our brains are wired that way. For as long as I can remember, I have never been satisfied with "that's just the way it is". I have spent most of my life asking "why can't it be better" and most of my life fighting to find those solutions. I believe that there is ALWAYS a solution or a better way. Those solutions live in the ability to empathize with the issues and then roll up our sleeves and figure out how to take steps forward. I have personal ties and professional experience in the LGBTQ+ community, with BIPOC, and the military community. I actively choose to face hard truths and find a way forward. We will do this in our work together.
