About My Clients
Parenting in today's world is challenging, and there are tools and techniques parents can learn to help make it easier. Children are also overwhelmed and struggling with stress, learning disabilities, ADHD, social media/gaming addiction, and peer conflicts, and may need to learn how to manage their mental health. I specialize in helping children, adolescents, adults, parents, couples, chronic pain/illness patients, and individuals/families with disabilities.
My Background and Approach
I received my MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2019, obtained my LPC-Associate license, and worked as a school counselor for the past two years in Orange County, California. My husband and I raised three amazing children, and recently became empty-nesters after moving back to Houston, TX. I have over 20 years of experience, working with developmentally/cognitively disabled children and adults in home, school, and clinical settings helping with behaviors, academics, and social skills. This experience, coupled with raising a son with autism, fueled my passion for helping parents, families, and children. I utilize multiple person-centered and solution-focused therapeutic techniques during counseling, working collaboratively with the client to determine personalized goals.
