Sometimes, despite your best efforts and planning, do you lie in bed before the alarm goes off feeling anxious, overwhelmed and alone? Is there past trauma weighing heavily on your heart and mind? My goal as your therapist is to normalize the common experiences we share as humans: pain, suffering, the desire to know ourselves, and connect with others. I support women and teens by by holding space for healing vibes and share coping skills to help you live your best life.
My Background and Approach
I work in collaboration with my clients to lower distress by providing simple yet effective tools to cope with anxiety, including mindfulness. My goal is for clients to be able to learn what best works for them. We will discuss how different parts of your body and your brain play a role in your anxious feelings and how to calm them down. I'm informed by EMDR, a leading evidence based therapy for trauma, anxiety and more.
