About My Clients
Are you looking for a safe space where you can find acceptance and authenticity from your therapist? I focus on building a collaborative relationship, one where I let you feedback, needs, goals and aspiration guide treatment. I specialize in individuals with depression and anxiety along with body image issues, gender dysphoria, trauma, and medical issues.
My Background and Approach
I am the co-owner and Vice President of Psychological Services Connection LLC (PSC). I have my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Antioch University New England and my undergraduate degree from University of Oregon. I am a licensed psychologist in Oregon and Washington. I started in pediatric psychology working with children with cancer and chronic health conditions under supervision on 2003. I have since gained experience and worked with individuals across the lifespan focused on individual, family, and group therapy with additional training in psychological testing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My values guide my practice. I lead with transparency, kindness, awareness, acceptance, feedback, accountability, and safety. My goal for my clients is to provide a safe, centering space where they find compassion and nourishment. I believe in culturally responsive, whole person care by treating the biological, psychological and social aspects of mental health issues. I use an integrative approach with my clients where I match interventions to the my client’s unique needs. I integrate concepts from psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, ACT, narrative therapy, family systems and somatic therapy. I have specialized training in HRV biofeedback, psychological testing, gender affirmative medical readiness evaluations, and psychedelic assisted treatment.
