Therapy with me involves a safe space to explore feelings and emotions. My areas of specialty include the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress management, times of transition or low self esteem. My focus is on improving how you perceive and navigate life's challenges, transitions, and relationships. Together we will develop a toolbox of skills to use between sessions to allow you to live your life in the fullest way possible. I draw upon several approaches to therapy. including Client-centered, Systems, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Strength-based, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy ( ART). I believe in order to succeed in therapy you must have a positive connection.
I am compassionate about helping others achieve their goals so that they can live a fulfilling life. I have a straightforward and direct approach and I work well with clients who are ready to put in the time and energy to work on hard emotions and tackle obstacles. I help guide clients towards their goals while teaching practical, hands on tools to use along the way. As a therapist, I meet clients where they are, while also sharing some insight to help them move closer to where they want to be. I believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and held in a safe environment.
