My Background and Approach
I believe that therapy is different for everyone and there is no "cookie-cutter" approach. My main goal is to have the therapy process fit your specific needs. I have over 10 years experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families who want to make changes to improve their lives and relationships. I have specific training in play and art therapy with children as well as Trauma-Focused therapy services to reduce PTSD symptoms. Other therapies I use: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman method, Systems family therapy, and Humanistic theory.
