About My Clients
If you are seeking a comprehensive assessment to establish an ADHD diagnosis for your own knowledge or for the purpose of work and/or school accommodations, I've got you! If you have already been diagnosed but aren't sure how to strengthen your skills and environment, we can make changes. If you were diagnosed later in adulthood and aren't sure how to make sense of who you are, we can explore together! Co-occurring anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other concerns can also be addressed.
My Background and Approach
I am available to provide guidance and support around living with ADHD in a world that isn't built for our neurotype. I practice from a holistic and/or neurodiversity affirming standpoint and have lived experienced as a late-diagnosed woman with ADHD. ADHD isn't a disorder, but rather a valuable expression of neurodiversity! However, without the right supports and structures in place, living with ADHD is a disability, which I have also experienced first-hand. While we work together, you will be the expert in what you need, and my role will be to provide you with encouragement, new skills and strategies, community, advocacy, and the space to learn and grow without judgment. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in IL, IA, KS, and CO with specialized training in working with adults with ADHD, many of whom have ASD as well. We can use person-first language or identity-first language depending on your preference.
