No one should be alone with trying to manage anxiety, but we often try to hide it from others. I offer a safe space where you can learn tools to reduce the symptoms of anxiety and eventually understand what is at the core of it. Often, when we process old problems and bring in new resources it takes a lot of the charge out of anxiety.
I support people in improving their quality of life and looking at how they want to show up in the world. Whether it’s deepening relationships with others, creating a nourishing inner life, going after dreams, or having true work/life balance, we can look at what your growing edge is. What makes a good life? In what ways do you hold yourself back? What are the skills you’re needing to move forward? What patterns are you ready to break?
Life transitions are the most common reason people come to see me. It is totally natural to feel confusion, contradiction, and self-doubt during any kind of transition - including a positive one. I help my clients manage these challenges and find greater ease and clarity so they can navigate transitions in a grounded way.
Transitions are the number one area I work with most in my practice. It is totally natural to feel at a loss, frustrated and confused when you're in a transition. I help people make space for all of the confusing and contradictory aspects that are a part of transitions.
Particularly helpful for clients who are working with self-esteem and self-acceptance, or want to learn how to set boundaries with kindness. It helps us be more in the present moment, beneath the stream of thoughts and stories that run throughout the day. Working in the present moment can bring so much insight and relief from the unconscious patterns that often run our life.
Sometimes just talking isn’t enough to create lasting change. Holistic therapy sees that the body, mind, and emotions are all part of who we are and need to be included in therapy in order to create deeper awareness and change. Many clients who like this type of work have been in therapy before but felt that just talking wasn't getting as deep as they wanted to go.
So much of who we are lies under the surface of our thoughts. Our psyche speaks to us in dreams, emotion, bodily symptoms, and images. Depth therapy takes us on a journey to our inner world where we can reconnect with creativity, inspiration, and forgotten aspects of our self.
A mindful and relational approach to therapy. We focus on building the capacity to be with feelings that help you understand yourself and where you get stuck. It helps us unwind limiting habits, process trauma, and enhance strengths and resilience.
