About My Clients
I specialize in attachment, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and women's issues. Whether you're navigating a divorce or faith transition, becoming a parent or going through a big change — a calm therapy partner in a soothing, stabilizing space can help restore your center. Crucible moments are times in our lives when we experience circumstances that forever transform us. I can help you find yourself within those moments.
My Background and Approach
Relationally trained, I strive to create a healing connection that can be transferred outside of the therapy room into your other relationships. I like to focus my work in 3 areas: relationship to yourself, others, & the world. I use a practical, strengths-based approach to help clients rewrite broken narratives and restore a feeling of balance and wholeness. My practice also incorporates mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma-informed interventions. I have specialty training in how to help family members of individuals on death row or who have been executed, as well as having first-hand experience and knowledge of this situation. I have experience working with sex workers, sex performers, homelessness, and complex-PTSD.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a queer-affirming, sex-positive, trauma-informed, and integrative therapist for all genders, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, ages, and bodies. Specialty areas: attachment issues, anxiety, depression, women's mental health, LGBTQIA+, high-control religious and professional environments. I care a lot about women's reproductive rights and social justice issues.
