She is experienced in working with adults and couples struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), childhood trauma, behavioral addictions, anxiety, depression and intergenerational trauma. As an Asian-American psychotherapist, Diane is able to empathize with various struggles that comes with immigrant families.
My Background and Approach
Diane offers integrated trauma-informed therapy and utilizes evidence-based treatments including Sensorimotor psychotherapy, Somatic therapy, EMDR Therapy, Ego state therapy, Internal Family Systems, narrative, strength based therapy, CBT, and provides EMDR consultation to clinicians. Diane is a Washington Licensed Mental Health Counselor, EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist, and Consultant in training. She completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University and Bachelors of Arts from University of Washington. She began her career in Corporate America with over 10 years of experience in business and is well knowledgeable in blending real-life perspectives of mental health and business world.
