About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I work with big and small trauma. I work in past, present and future with EMDR. I explore family constellations and patterns related to unconscious longing. I incorporate mindfulness, Socratic questioning, and DBT exercises. I enjoy family systems work. I obtained my doctorate in clinical social work at UPenn and my research includes post-liver transplant patients receiving telehealth services to decrease anxiety, depression demonstrating good outcomes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe any human has the capacity to change up until their last breath. I have witnessed this truth in hospital settings in final exchanges. I am a change agent and facilitate growth. I know therapy stirs the pot of emotion, but that is a consequence of the WORK. I create a safe place to start the work keeping my clients’ window of tolerance always in mind. I have done extensive work in family systems and constellations, along with trainings in EMDR (trauma) , CBT (anxiety & depression) and Gottmans’ couple work.
