About My Clients

You came here because you have a desire to deepen your relationship with yourself and others, you feel stuck in patterns you hope to change, are processing trauma, or are looking to reclaim lost parts of yourself. You have come to the right place. Working with adults with childhood trauma/complex trauma, couples/relational systems, chronic pain/illness, and queer/trans/non-binary individuals and relationships, I work collaboratively with clients to create spaces for care, depth, and connection.

My Background and Approach

I believe every part of you has a story to tell and holds deep meaning - mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, relational. I work with clients in their past, present, and future, connecting clients with all versions of themself, lineage, and relationships. My approach is trauma-informed, systemic, somatic, and is based in attachment theory, polyvagal theory, IFS/parts work, inner child work, and is intergenerational. I have a certification in Somatic Attachment Therapy and am a certified Sexual Assault Survivor Advocate. I approach my therapeutic work with warmth, compassion, and a sense of play. The container I create with clients is one of co-creation where clients feel individually cared for, tended to, and moved gently toward growth. I believe everyone has the right to affirming, validating care and my practice centers that belief through social justice practices, mindfulness, and a deepening introspection of my self as your therapist and the therapy container itself.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I think about mental health through a systemic lens - the understanding that we are all impacted by one another, the sociopolitical systems in which we live, and our social locations. I believe we are interconnected with the world around us making ecological concepts and connection with nature an important part of my work. I am invisibly physically disabled and neurodivergent, which fuels me toward naming and dismantling ableism on the systemic level. I am an active advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and have served as an advocate and educator teaching students and community members about topics such as systemic racism, the importance of sex-positive education, and trans rights. Through this lens, I center those impacted by systemic marginalization and emphasize social justice in my practice. I believe therapy can be a building block not only for you and your relationships, but for community change and liberation.
