About My Clients
Generational patterns, cultural factors and our past impact how we move, talk, behave and interact in this world. My approach to therapy is integrative and client-centered. I create a safe space where you can feel empowered, comfortable and vulnerable. But lets be honest- it is NOT easy to open up to a stranger you JUST met. Trust takes time and I am more than willing to be patient and flow at YOUR pace.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) with over 10 wonderful years of serving the community. I've worked in multiple non-profit organizations focusing on underprivileged families in Santa Clara County. My experience range from intellectual disabilities, autism, chronic depression, anxiety, and PTSD (physical/emotional/sexual/mental traumas). I absolutely enjoy working with individuals, couples and families! My approach to therapy is integrative – I would encourage you to explore your past and we would, collaboratively identify any patterns that we might want to change. It's important to me that I challenge you in the room and also create a space where you can feel empowered, safe and vulnerable. Let's be honest- trust and safety takes time, effort, and authenticity to grow; this is where the healing starts and I'm more than willing to be patient and flow at your pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My core belief is that everyone's experience is different, even if we come from a similar culture, background, or same nuclear family. However, the one thing we all have in common is that – we are all humans and we have feelings.
