I earned my Master of Social Work degree from UW-Seattle in 2013. As a Clinical Social Worker, I come from a systems theory foundation which means that I recognize that stress or changes in one area of life has impact across many, if not all, other life areas.
I have training in evidence based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-focused therapy which have been proven effective in addressing depression and anxiety. I have worked with children, youth, and families for my 16 year career. I have also worked in a variety of settings. As a therapist, I am relational and person centered in my approach. I recognize that you are the one that is capable of making changes to reach your goals.
