Hi there! I'm Emily, a size-inclusive eating disorder therapist. My goal is to help guide you on your journey to trusting your body.

About My Clients

I specialize in working with anyone struggling with their relationship with food and their body. If you are ready to be done dieting, tired of treating your body as a "problem" that has to be punished or controlled, this is the place for you. The eating disorder field hasn't always been inclusive to folks in larger bodies but this practice is. You'd be a good fit for me if any of this resonates with you and you don't mind some swearing.

My Background and Approach

I practice from a fat liberation standpoint. I'm anti-diet, HAES aligned and utilize harm reduction techniques. In 2023 I received my certification to become a Body Trust® Practitioner. I utilize a variety of therapy approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and of course some humor here and there.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that all bodies are good bodies and deserve to be treated as such. Fat bodies are welcome in my practice. I volunteer facilitating support groups with the Eating Disorder Foundation and I'm a member of the Association of Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH) . My pets are always rescues and I know I cannot be trusted to visit the shelter without coming home with a new best friend.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
