About My Clients
Clients can expect to gain a deeper understanding of how their thoughts and feelings impact their behavior, embrace all parts of their identity, and develop healthier self-talk. My eclectic approach, rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems, provides a warm, non-judgmental space for healing. Clients will feel seen, heard, and validated, and will leave with tools to increase their self-worth and overall well-being.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is eclectic, rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I tailor sessions to each client, focusing on the whole person—mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social aspects. Using CBT and IFS, I help clients understand how thoughts and feelings impact behavior and embrace all parts of themselves. I provide a warm, humorous, and non-judgmental space for healing and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone needs an extra helping hand once in a while and I am happy to be that person for you. I believe that we all have the capacity to grow and change and some seasons of life are more difficult than others. I have benefited tremendously from talk therapy and the support of my community, especially when navigating my own anxiety, grief and gender. I hope that I can be a person of warmth and support to you as you navigate your own journey. I am a foster parent to senior dogs and usually have one by feet or at my lap. I love the 76ers and fiber crafts.
