Unfortunately, the stories that influence us the most the ones we never wanted: family secrets, relationship and sexual difficulties, unhelpful alcohol use and compulsive shopping, struggles with faith, rejection and discrimination, people-pleasing, hiding, anxiety, and shame. My approach to healing is grounded in narrative therapy, and influenced by post-modern & feminist theories, solution-focused interventions, and EMDR trauma recovery practices.
