About My Clients
I have extensive experience providing both group and individual therapy to people struggling with substance abuse, behavioral addictions, trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety, as well as other mental health concerns and life transitions. I strive to approach all clients with a deep level of respect and humility and I operate as a guide throughout the therapy process.
My Background and Approach
I received my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University with a specialization in Psychological Trauma Studies. I am also a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor and have experience volunteering with Trevor Project’s crisis line serving LGBTQ+ youth. I have been working in the mental health and treatment field in various capacities since 2011. My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative, but rooted in person-centered, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed perspectives. At the core of my practice lies a deep belief in the power of authentic connection and the transformative impact of therapy. Having personally experienced the benefits of therapy, I’m dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space where clients can explore their inner worlds with honesty, compassion, and curiosity. For me, therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution; it's a collaborative and creative process where we work together to cultivate a life that is in alignment with what matters most to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and have experience volunteering with Trevor Project's crisis line. I operate from an inclusive and affirmative lens and believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and develop a deeper level of love, understanding, and compassion towards themselves in a safe and welcoming space.
