About My Clients
I work with adults, couples, and premarital couples who struggle with "pouring from an empty cup" stress, anxiety, limiting beliefs, past hurts and relational challenges. I work with clients who know what changes they want to see but struggle with "how" to get there. I work collaboratively with my clients towards their goals and assist them in creating a path forward where progress is possible, and hope restored.
My Background and Approach
I work with clients in a collaborative and interactive way. My approach is eclectic with the needs of my clients, however I utilize a lot of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist my clients in moving forward and making changes in a practical and sustainable way. For clients that want a faith based perspective I integrate a Christian framework and evidence based therapy approaches dependent upon client comfortability as well as non-religious counseling. My aim as a therapist is to give my clients the tools and skills to not only thrive but most of all create impactful and sustainable change in their lives and relationships. I aim to create a safe space where clients feel accepted and understood. I have my degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy from Pepperdine University. I've provided mental health counseling for the past 6 years.
