About My Clients
When it comes to therapy, I'm all about creating a safe space that feels comforting, and supportive, but also I like to take the stuffiness out of the idea of therapy. I'm here to support anyone dealing with eating disorders, trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and OCD. My approach to therapy is deeply personal and collaborative. I believe in crafting personalized strategies tailored to each client's unique journey.
My Background and Approach
While my roots are in psychodynamic therapy, I love to incorporate diverse approaches like client-centered, CBT, DBT, and somatic techniques. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge, and my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Helping people find their path to happiness and well-being is my passion. Whether you're an individual (ages 14 and older), a couple, a family, or a group, I'm dedicated to listening, supporting, and guiding you towards a greater sense of well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When it comes to therapy, I'm all about creating a safe space that feels comforting, supportive, but also I like to take the stuffiness out of the idea of therapy. Because I know how awkward and uncomfortable it can be to open up to someone you don’t know. Developing a strong client connection is so important to my approach, and I'm all about meeting you where you're at, no judgment, no rush. Whether you're struggling with eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, or OCD, I've got you. We'll dig deep, and find that light at the end of the tunnel. And here's the thing – I'm not here to just smile and nod and say 'mmmhmm.' I'm going to be in it with you the whole way. Because your journey is my journey, and we're going laugh, cry, and be in this together.
