About My Clients
My clients are actively involved in their healing process, utilizing sessions to process the growth they are experiencing in their everyday life. We discuss all possible origins of their concerns: including the biological, psychological, social/familial , and spiritual influences that may be contributing to their current state of discomfort.
My Background and Approach
My education is in Social Work and Addiction Counseling and Prevention. I have experience working with adults in inpatient/outpatient addiction recovery, outpatient mental health settings, and long-term care facilities. I have enjoyed working with children in several environments including foster care, behavioral issues in schools, children with incarcerated loved ones, and in outpatient mental health settings. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based to develop a plan that empowers my clients to live authentically, the life they choose, while finding healing from what ails them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a life-long learner who is always reading at least 2 books. I enjoy spending time with my family, practicing yoga, pilates and being outside.
