About My Clients
I support young adults that are managing a broad range of challenges. I provide neurodiversity- affirming care and support clients in challenges related to Autism, anxiety, ADHD, depression, self-esteem, and communication. Through my strength-based and holistic view of each client, I utilizing this information to inform the work we do. Clients that benefit most from my services are engaged in the process, and ready to collaborate.
My Background and Approach
Emotions can provide insight, fostering greater self-awareness and a better understanding of needs. My practice is guided by evidence-based approaches, and I view wellness through an integrative framework. I encourage mind-body awareness, allowing clients to better understand their experiences, and more effectively manage discomfort. I offer flexibility, attention to pacing, and tailor to the client's preference for structure. I bring my honest curiosity, a strength-based and goal-oriented approach. I support clients as they work toward their goals, unravel limiting beliefs, navigate barriers and challenging systems (employment and school), and find healthy coping amidst inevitable difficulty.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I don't believe that we are broken or need to be fixed, but rather that pain is a part of our experience. I know there are disparities in causes, as well as in access to informed-care. We see how severe this pain can become for some, and the magnitude of its impact. I believe we can find relief, and that the pain can become more tolerable when we have safety and support, when we detach from unhelpful and limiting narratives, maximize our existing strengths, and bring forth the best parts of ourselves. I understand how important it is to collaborate with each client to find a system that fits their needs. I draw on Behavioral Therapies (ACT, CBT), Mindfulness, Strength-based, and Solution Focused modalities. I deeply trust this process and the capacity for growth. Reach out to see how I can help.
