About My Clients
In my experience, I have found face to face to be most effective, however, virtual sessions can be provided as needed. Serving adolescents and young adults is my passion. I am sensitive to the unique needs of the local young people in this season of increased depression, anxiety, social-media pressure, injustice, and all that quarantine has brought with it.
My Background and Approach
have worked as a mental health clinician since 2017. I specialize in adolescents and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidality, self-harm, relationship issues, family stressors, and academic concerns. I have three-plus years of providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families in school systems. I’ve worked with different populations struggling with trauma, thought and mood disorders, socioeconomic status, cultural barriers, acute mental health, psychosis, and addictions. I use a variety of Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Experiential Therapy, and Attachment Theory to support my clients in learning to manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
