About My Clients
Do you feel like your relationships with yourself, partner, or even family members need a tune up? Or maybe you just need someone to talk to that isn't 'in your circle'? I work with all people looking to build happier, healthier relationships with themselves and others. While, I do have a special interest in working with new, or soon to be, parents and the difficulties that can arise with that transition; all life transitions are challenging and can bring out a variety feelings and issues!
My Background and Approach
I obtained my masters of arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2017. Since then, my experience has been working with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life coming to me for a plethora of reasons, including struggles with addiction, codependency, life transitions, and the grief and trauma that can come along with each. Through the lens of attachment, I will strive to meet you right where you’re at. I love to use humor and a direct, nonjudgmental approach to therapy, as well as an understanding of the importance of safety!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that connection and authenticity can both help us grow and change. From the moment we are born we are taking in information and forming relationships. Those relationships can build within us a subconscious set of expectations, rules, and sense of safety; sometimes roadblocks can be put in our way that can then impact how we view future relationships or ourselves. Let's break down those roadblocks together and find new ways to set boundaries, communicate, and write new narratives!
