About My Clients
Welcome to my profile! With years of experience in the field, I specialize in treating a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self-esteem challenges, grief and loss, and trauma. My practice is particularly focused on supporting widows in grief and individuals who have experienced trauma related to grief, such as witnessing a sudden death, including first responders. Additionally, I offer grief counseling for children/adolescents aged 10 and up.
My Background and Approach
In my practice, I've discovered my calling in working with trauma survivors - childhood, first responders, and veterans. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, a transformative approach that has brought profound positive changes to my clients' lives. Implementing Emotional Freedom Techniques offers a holistic approach to my therapeutic interventions. As a young widow and caregiver, I have navigated the complexities of loss firsthand. I intimately understand the challenges faced by young widows and caregivers, as well as the profound impact of anticipatory grief on individuals and families. Drawing from my personal journey, I offer a safe and supportive space for widows in grief to explore their emotions, process their grief, and find hope in the midst of darkness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
With me as your therapist, you can trust that you're in the hands of someone who not only understands your pain but also believes in your ability to heal and thrive. I offer a compassionate and client-centered approach ensuring that each individual feels seen, heard, and supported on their journey toward healing.
