I work from a foundation of attachment theory and I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), proven to be the most effective therapy modality for couples. EFT strives to uncover the underlying emotions that drive our thoughts and behaviors, as well as builds safety and trust in the relationship. I believe in the power of vulnerability and connection to ourselves and others.
I am trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and mindfulness; I also incorporate the body, somatic therapy, and music as tools for further expansion and exploration. In addition, I practice Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to further support my clients in the best way I can.
