About My Clients

I thrive working with individuals who are open to self-exploration and motivated to build resilience and improve their emotional well-being. Individuals dealing with anxiety and depression struggle with feelings of overwhelm, sadness, or uncertainty. I work well with those ready to address and understand the root causes of these emotions and work toward developing healthier thinking and behavior patterns. I also work with couples experiencing relationship issues.

My Background and Approach

My holistic approach, keen listening skills, and being fully present with each client allow me to create a safe, relaxed, supportive space that encourages transformation and change. This is when connections can be made or strengthened. In designing your personalized action plan, I consider all contributing factors, including religion, culture, background, values, and beliefs. I deliver this guidance with dignity, respect and a dash of humor here and there because it is okay to laugh at ourselves, especially when we are learning, growing and healing. As an experienced therapist, I integrate approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques to support you in overcoming obstacles and creating meaningful change. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or just seeking personal growth, I’m here to guide you toward healing and self-discovery.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fit-all approach, but a personalized process that allows individuals to grow and change. Life is also very subjective. One event can affect 2 (or more) people in vastly different ways. When the experience is negative or unwelcome, the emotional and psychological residue left behind often produces mental and physical symptoms that turn simple tasks into daunting obstacles. The secret to avoiding that toxic build-up and gaining clarity is rationalizing the experience while understanding your feelings about the event.
