About My Clients
Existence is an intense struggle in a manmade world of suffering. Dissociative experiences and feeling unhuman is a response we can care for. Maybe you've gone through a profound trauma, such as psychosis or assault, and are looking for some way to pick up what feels like broken pieces. The goals my clients aim to achieve include fostering community and feeling connected to the liberation of all peoples, and sometimes it's just making it to the next day.
My Background and Approach
The tools I offer and therapy I provide are led by the things that you want to focus on, and I can provide guidance in session if you feel stuck or unsure where to go. Your feelings, the parts of you that are deep within and feel unable or unsafe to exist deserve to be seen and to be loved. I aim to provide a space to challenge social norms and help you find solace in a world that needs profound change. My expertise in navigating dissociative experiences, queerness, chronic suicidality, and post-psychosis come from experience. I joined this field to find my own answers, and offer guidance to those wish to try therapy out with me.
Why I Became a Therapist
I believe that some of the most prominent underlying causes of mental health issues are capitalism, white supremacy, and colonialism. Your response to these gigantic atrocities are extremely valid, whether its chronic suicidality, absurdism, dissociation, or rage. All valid. I believe we do not need to tame these states, but give them the love they need and listen to what they are trying to tell us. I am an active member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community as a trans, non-binary human. I was induced into psychosis due to medical neglect in 2021, and while I am still pissed about it, it has lead me to discover parts of myself that have been exploited and scared for so long. Now, I try to balance surviving under capitalism with spewing joy and love in everything I do, whether its connection, art, or simply being. It's a whimsical time :)
