About My Clients
I best serve individuals who experience difficulty managing anxiety, depression and manic episodes. Is your anxiety getting in the way of completing everyday tasks? Are you experiencing lack of motivation, low energy or social isolation? Is your impulsive behavior creating financial stress? If so, I look forward to teaching you tools to take your life back!
My Background and Approach
I received my bachelor’s degree at Pittsburg State University in 2015. I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Webster University in 2019. I am also currently achieving a doctorate in Forensic Psychology. In 2018, I began counseling clients of all ages. During that time, I worked part-time at a private practice in Kansas City, Missouri called New Hope Counseling Center. I also worked as a Family and Youth Specialist for the University of Kansas Hospital where I worked with children between the ages of 4 to 18. As a Family and Youth Specialist, I developed a working knowledge of childhood trauma and how to conduct psycho-educational therapy groups to support each patient’s treatment plan. From 2019 to current, as both a Qualified Mental Health Professional and LPC Associate, I have gracefully gained the experience and ability to provide counseling services to a variety of populations, including juveniles and adults who are involved with the judicial system.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a counselor, I will provide an empathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment for my clients. I hope to be a resource to help my clients break their cycle of pain and discover their inner strength by setting goals to achieve lifelong happiness. Altogether, I will help you, your children and adolescents elicit positive change and thrive in your life and relationships.
