ACT is a type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). It differs from some other kinds of cognitive behavioral therapy in that rather than trying to teach you to better control your thoughts, feelings, sensations, memories and other private events, ACT teaches you to "just notice," accept, and embrace their private events, especially previously unwanted ones.
Eclectic therapy draws on multiple theoretical orientations and techniques. It allows me to use a flexible and multifaceted approach to therapy using the most effective methods available to address each person's individual needs.
In coaching the focus is on the 'here and now' rather than on the distant past or future. We work together to unlock a your potential and maximize your strengths.
