I have completed training from Beck institute on CBT for Chronic Pain, Essential Skills and Depression. These courses provided me with to foundation needed to provide effective treatment and hone therapeutic skills, along with building knowledge in CBT. Deeper understanding of depression and learning how CBT experts successfully treat even severely depressed patients.
I completed training on how to integrate mindfulness techniques into CBT treatment for clients with many psychiatric disorders and psychological difficulties. Specific CBT techniques for these clients, including how to develop a cognitive conceptualization. Practiced several kinds of mindfulness exercises and learned how to motivate and guide clients in developing a consistent mindfulness practice.
Motivational interviewing provides me with a person-centered approach to strengthen motivation and commitment to change. Strength-based engagement strategies and motivational interviewing are an important part of effective communication with clients to support their continued progress toward applying solutions to life challenges.

I completed LIFT training through the LGBTQ Center of New York. The program is designed to help clinicians gain additional knowledge, skills and confidence to reduce the rejecting behaviors of families struggling to accept their LGBTQ children. The program also aims to support families experiencing conflict around their child’s actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression. i have sense gone on to aid multiple Queer identifying individuals.
