About My Clients
I have experience working in community-based and outpatient mental health settings. I enjoy working with adults of all ages in order to help them develop perspectives and coping skills that can help enhance their quality of life. My specialty areas include trauma, anxiety, depression, existential concerns, and interpersonal conflict.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) at Foresight. I received my Master's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Counseling from California State University, Stanislaus. I enjoy utilizing dialectical and cognitive approaches in therapy. My primary objective when working with clients is developing a solid therapeutic relationship; genuine change and sincere emotional expression can only take place once trust has been established. I foster a collaborative environment by encouraging clients to take an active role in their treatment. Most importantly, I believe that concerns and struggles deserve to be met with dignity and respect in an environment that is devoid of judgement.
