About My Clients
I received my Master's Degree in Forensic Mental Health and Counseling and have experience working with post-incarcerated individuals, high-needs populations, highly traumatized populations, people working through grief and loss, and folks struggling with daily life issues such as relationships, new life developments, and identity. Much of my experience as a clinician has been working at a community mental health agency where I became well acquainted with a wide-range of clients.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy with a psychoanalytic lens, meaning the work between the client and therapist lies in uncovering what feels unknown about the client. I focus on attachment styles and relational dynamics as I firmly believe the dynamic between the therapist and client is another relationship built on trust and communication. Within all of these theories and practices, I am mostly led by compassionate curiosity to listen and experience with my clients as every person is different and we have much to grow and learn together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe strongly in affordable, accessible care. I offer sliding scale to clients who are unable to pay my full rate of $130. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss this option further.
