Trauma can impact every area of life of an individual. Being attuned to the impacts, nuances, and signs of trauma is highly important in my practice to minimize re-traumatization and provide accurate care. Addressing trauma takes time and patience but most importantly, trauma looks unique with each client. Together we can tease out the unique ways trauma has touched your life and how to grapple with the aftermath of feeling out of control.

Psychodynamic and psychoanalytic treatment emphasizes therapy as a process of unveiling one's self who is currently inaccessible and unknown. Together we will explore your desires, thoughts, feelings, and actions to expand your sense of self and understanding.

Individual therapy involves 2 people engaging in a relationship. The relationship looks unique to each therapist and client but it is one built on trust, consistency, and communication. Through building and exploring the therapeutic relationship together, we will also be able to learn more about how you respond in other relationships and experience a new way of relating to others.

Queerness is a beautiful and liberating identity to embrace. Unfortunately, in this age, it does not always mean others are accepting. Navigating queer- and gender-identities can be complex and evoke overlapping emotions. Grappling with acceptance and the exploration of self is important to do with others and safely. Even when one has come to a place of knowing themselves, navigating relationships and society demands time and care. Together we can explore how your identity impacts your life.
