About My Clients
We determine our self-worth by comparing our lives and judging ourselves against unattainable or unrealistic standards (hello, Instagram). I'm here to say, "I get it" and to provide breathing room when you don't feel like you’re good enough, or when you have hit your capacity. I work with individuals who want to feel better about their bodies and their relationship with food, people navigating a little thing called motherhood, those those hoping to get the most out of relationships.
My Background and Approach
In therapy with me, you will be learning more about what keeps you stuck in shame and I will help you find tools toward moving forward in your career, relationships and personal life. I am genuine, open-minded, light-hearted, and love connecting with others on a deeper level. I am trained in psychodynamic therapy which allows us to connect unconscious motivations of our current behaviors and how we relate to others. I can be directive and offer tools, however, I will always meet you where you are at in your own process. My approach is eclectic, pulling from different modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectal behavior therapy (DBT), somatic therapy and mindfulness. I have diverse clinical experience with adolescents, young adults, women, and families dealing with addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. I am also passionate about creating a safe space for the LGBTQ community.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we are all capable of healing and deserve a safe space to feel seen, understood, and create a path to come back to our intuitive knowing.
