About My Clients
I serve adult clients who are struggling with life-controlling issues, mental health concerns, addictions, and recent or past trauma to include PTSD in veterans and the first responder community. I also help couples who are struggling in cycles that are unhealthy and after betrayals/infidelity. I lean heavily on attachment theory to help my couples and teach them how to become more securely attached and how to have healthier, happier, more satisfying relationships.
My Background and Approach
My primary focus is trauma and how that plays out, often in subconscious ways, keeping us addicted, angry, controlling others, and in toxic relationships. I am trained in EMDR psychotherapy. I specialize in addictions/substance abuse, domestic violence, PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, troubled relationships, military, first responders, and more. I am very empathic and compassionate while also being authentic and straight forward. I will tell you like I see it, but I will meet you where you are and guide you at your pace. You are absolutely safe here from judgment (no matter what!), and everyone is treated fairly and as equals. I look forward to being a part of your life journey! I do have experience with Africans as well as those identifying as lgbtq+.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I personally, literally believe that all people are equal. No one is better than anyone else for any reason at all ever. Some have different knowledge and different attributes, but that doesn’t mean “better.” Some are lost, but that doesn’t mean forever. Anyone who wants to can change and can create the life and love they want. Where there is a will, there truly is a way. Let’s talk about it.
