About My Clients
Licensed in WA and FL. Are you looking to tune into your desires, welcome more pleasure, and build a more creative life? Change can be scary and seeking support can be even scarier. I support individuals and relationships through the means of EMDR and expressive arts therapies to help navigate life's rocky transitions in a confident way. I specialize in working with lgbtqia youth and adults, perinatal sexual health, painful sex, anxiety/depression, and work within polyamorous relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) in WA State, Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern in Florida (RMFTI), Registered Provisional Art Therapist (ATR-P), ACSI Certified Sex Educator (CSE), and am currently working towards AASECT certification. I have earned my M.A. in Couple and Family Therapy with specializations in Creative Arts Therapy and Sex Therapy at Antioch University in Seattle, WA. Additionally, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques and am working towards certification in Psychedelic Assisted Therapies (PATP). I work with a variety of clients going through life transitions. Additionally, I specialize in sex therapy, perinatal mental and sexual health, painful sex, and work within nonmonogamous, SW, kink, and LGBTQIA+ communities. I offer a neutral, strength-based approach to my work to help you feel validated throughout your therapeutic journey.
Our Values as Mental Health Practitioners
I utilize a systemic and holistic lens when viewing my work as I believe there is a strong connection between the mind, body, and spirit in relation to the various systems of the world that you may enter into. In addition, I offer an open, non-judgmental stance in my space I am passionate about helping others find their creative energy in life, whether that be through talking, art-making, or mindful movement. What I value most about my work is helping my clients become more knowledgeable about their own needs, desires, and pleasures and using that to propel their therapeutic process. Additionally, I aim to help individuals and families strengthen their relationships to create lasting changes. I believe that the work we do in the therapy room is only part of the journey. Stepping outside of the space is where the real work is done. I offer homework to help you through your journey, track your progress, and gain skills. I'm excited to help you through this chapter of your life!
