About My Clients

The work I do is often focused on supporting folks with chronic illness and disabilities and those facing life transitions. Many of my clients are seeking support in career transition and workplace stress and oppression. My clients generally come to me seeking to build confidence, improve self-esteem, and regain their inner power.

My Background and Approach

I specialize in empowering individuals to embrace their inner strengths and build confidence amidst life’s many changes and challenges. As a dedicated mental health and career counselor, I am passionate about helping clients redefine their paths with positivity and purpose. As your counselor, we'll engage in a collaborative process wherein you are the expert of your own lived experience and I am a guide and comrade in your healing journey. I have 13 years of experience in the field of rehabilitation including mental health, physical disability, and vocational rehabilitation. I have specialized training in career counseling and assessment as well as disability justice, adjustment, and acceptance. I'll help you to understand both the internal and external factors involved in mental health conditions and will help you to regain your inner strength and power.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As my theoretical orientation is Intersectional Feminism, I do see the political as personal. As such, political dialogue is welcome in counseling sessions. I view healing and developing inner strength as an integral part of the process of building collective well-being.
