About My Clients
Within this framework, I support teenagers and young adults who are struggling with relational issues, life transitions, and general daily stressors. A few of my main areas of work include anxiety, depression, grief, and coping skills. My goal is to help individuals juggle the balance of work, school, and extracurricular activities while seeking out becoming a healthier version of themselves.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to help clients receive the best and most effective tools to help them succeed within the context of relationship with others. Through the use of validation, empathy, active listening and reflection clients will feel open to expressing their concerns. Some of the main approaches I use are cognitive-behavioral therapy, tools from acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as person-centered techniques. I look forward to meeting you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a counselor, my ultimate aim is to help others reach their own personal goals by supporting them in figuring out what that looks like for each individual. My passion is to help others grow in any sphere they are looking to - whether emotionally, physically, mentally, or spiritually. I believe that through the process of therapy, each person can strengthen and grow in every part of their lives that they are seeking guidance in. In my own therapy, I have worked through trauma, cognitive distortions, anxiety, stress, grief, and life transitions. By experiencing therapy myself for many years, I can empathize and understand the strength and courage it takes, to take that first step.
