About My Clients

Clients who wish to explore issues around stress, overwhelm, relationships, identity, sexuality, spirituality, psychedelics, or trauma often resonate with my style of psychotherapy. I offer couples and individuals a warm environment that is supportive, collaborative, and direct. Building a relationship that has a safe space for tough and untouchable topics is essential to my work. I invite you to bring your full Self into session, which may include parts unknown, shadow sides, and hidden gems.

My Background and Approach

I believe therapy is best infused with joy, richness, depth, curiosity and amusement, and I bring that reverence into my work. For my couples work, I have been certified in the research-based Level 1 Couples Gottman Method and utilize Attachment Theory and Emotionally-Focused techniques to repair long-held resentments, improve communication, bridge trust, and bring back excitement, connection, and vitality to the relationship. I give you tools to navigate conflict, communicate your needs, and to create more opportunities for play, teamwork, and sensuality. I utilize somatic awareness and neuroscience to bring the body and it's signals into focus and deepen your relationship to your self. I'm transparent in my therapeutic techniques and provide psychoeducation and resourcing for the topics we tackle in session. I also welcome the numinous aspects of your life into session where we can explore dreams, archetypes, integrating psychedelic experiences, and your spiritual practices.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Your life is YOUR story, how beautiful! I believe re-claiming the narrative of your past paves the way for a more meaningful present and future. We're all capable of remarkable transformation with the right support, tools, and guidance. In my work with couples, I have been astounded time and time again at how quickly positive change can take place when you have two people ready to show up and do the work. I've seen individuals reclaim their self-esteem and radiate wholeness from the deep inner explorations of therapy. I understand that by the time someone has found the "right" therapist for them, they have likely been long suffering and navigating the complex mental health system which can feel draining, expensive, and archaic. So I empathize with the process and I show up ready for your healing journey. Community is a vital piece of the healing puzzle and I give back to the community by offering a free monthly process group, and offer my service in free/low-cost healing clinics.
