About My Clients
Perhaps you suffer from depression or anxiety, experience frequent worries or regrets, find yourself navigating stress from relationships, career, or life transitions, or perhaps you are striving for a greater sense of personal growth and fulfillment. If this is the case, individual therapy can offer a source of help and support. I believe engaging in therapy is an act of courage and strength, and my aim is to work together to help you reach your goals.
My Background and Approach
I think every person’s story and style is unique, which is why I prefer an integrative approach to therapy, utilizing and blending different frameworks including mindfulness, DBT, CBT, creative arts, psychodynamic, and existential. As for my professional background, I received my M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University, and have trained in various clinical settings, including hospitals, outpatient addiction treatment, and private practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My philosophy is based on a wellness model, which means I don’t focus too heavily on pathology or diagnoses. I value the mindset that we are all striving to reach our own potential in different ways, and all possess unique strengths as well as areas for growth. My hope is to create a safe and collaborative space together, where we can really work on the issues that matter most.
