Seeing people overcome anxiety, find meaning, and live to their fullest potential is an incredible experience. On the other side of feeling stuck, trapped, scared, and frustrated is spontaneity, confidence, pure laughter, and purpose.
My Background and Approach
The first step is the no-cost phone consultation. From there if it's a good match, we will schedule an intake to gather a wholistic view of the concern. Instead of a treatment plan, my process is that we will envision goals from the beginning. We will work together to identify small, meaningful, and tangible goals. These are goals that you might start to see some momentum on within the first few months.
The first six weeks of therapy are so important, because we are establishing a trusting and safe place from which you can explore new insights and build new skills. That's why I ask for a commitment of six weeks with one appointment each week.
I frequently use applied neuroscience in my therapeutic approach. This combined with cognitive behavioral therapy has established long term relief from anxiety for many of my clients.
Finally, in our sessions, you are in the lead and I will focus our sessions on what is most salient to you.
