About My Clients

You are ready to engage in the work of growth, healing, and returning to self. This could be little by little or that may be some big, heavy stuff. You may be ready to trust that the wisdom of your body will guide the healing. This may focus on parenting or affirming neurodivergency. This may be related to religious trauma. Maybe diet culture. You may be exploring the realities of white body supremacy and that of other oppressive systems while seeking to access more joy and liberation.

My Background and Approach

What brought me to this work is not what keeps me here. Over the past 15+ years, I have realized that the ableist and pathologizing systems need to be dismantled. Yet committed to access through use of insurance, my conceptualization during our work is collaborative, intersectional, and trusting. I don’t see myself as an expert in our work, but rather a fellow journeyer honored to have the opportunity to bear witness to another’s growth, healing, and returning to self. Brainspotting as a trauma modality felt a bit like coming home to me - the trust in one’s infinite bodily wisdom is honoring and comforting. You may be able to identify what feels activated in your body, and then shift to identifying, processing, and releasing these core sources of pain. And I really trust that you have all you need to heal. Truly. I will hold that for you until you are ready to believe it for yourself.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a queer, cis-gendered, white, currently able-bodied female living with a partner in recovery and within a neurodivergent family. I strive to be culturally humble as reckon with the ways my body and aspects of my identity are given undue privilege. I reside on unceded Dakota & Anishinaabe land. I lean toward abolitionism and system deconstruction. Truly, deep down, I believe it’s hard to be a human body in this society AND I believe humans can be beautiful, creative, loving, and powerful folx who want to share in community with other humans and all of the natural world. But our systems really get in the way. I don’t see myself as an expert, but rather a fellow journeyer honored to have the opportunity to bear witness to another’s growth and healing.
