As a psychologist for the past 15 years, I have helped folks learn to pay less attention to “what should be” and find joy and meaning by redirecting their focus on what is and what they value. When we are able to align our intentions, values, and behaviors, then we are able to move towards who we want to be.
My Background and Approach
Because I've been doing this for quite a while, I am comfortable working with a very wide range of concerns and have a robust arsenal of approaches I can deploy to fit each client's unique needs. I draw heavily from Interpersonal, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Acceptance and Commitment therapies. I am also a culturally responsible and social justice-oriented therapist, inclusive to all identities.
