About My Clients

Starting therapy can be daunting, but once you open yourself to it, you enter a self-discovery endeavor that can free you from limiting emotional beliefs that block your life. You will feel more confident, less anxious, or depressed and develop more self-acceptance. I work with adults with diverse ethnic, cultural backgrounds, gender, sexual identities, and religious beliefs who face trauma, anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, relationship conflicts, parenting issues and more.

My Background and Approach

I will focus on treating your symptoms, identifying patterns that led to emotional and relational conflicts and developing a respectful, trusting relationship that will support a deep dive into the internal forces that influence how you live and relate to others. We will also explore your potential, helping you unfold as a human being connected to the collective environment. I have a socio-cultural and mind-body perspective, and my clinical practice is influenced by Jungian, psychoanalytic, systemic, and attachment theories. I provide both short-term and long-term therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As someone who grew up in a culturally rich environment in Brazil and as an immigrant, I resonate with patients for whom cultural, sexual, and religious diversity is of utmost importance. My values are aligned with expanding a full spectrum of healthy human potential that frees people from limited self-beliefs or oppressive social structures.
