About My Clients
My main clientele are individuals who have experienced life-altering trauma, are navigating the challenges of neurodivergence, and who are trying to build an overall healthier lifestyle for themselves. I also have experience working with poetry-for-healing and feel pulled towards working with poetic individuals.
My Background and Approach
There is a quote by Stephen Shore about autism that says, “If you've met one individual with autism, you've met one individual with autism”, and that is how I approach therapy. I believe that we are all unique individuals and that this is something that should be celebrated. I treat each of my clients as an individual, providing them with empathy and a genuine interest in their life, their story, and their healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I grew up exposed to many different vulnerable populations which made me feel deeply connected to issues of justice. I devote my time to advocating for those who have experienced sexual and disability injustices and have worked with adults with developmental disabilities and justice system reform. I am passionate about ensuring each of my clients has a safe, non-judgmental environment for them to share their story and take steps towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
