About My Clients
I have experience working as a therapist and administrator at non-profits and community-based organizations devoted to quality and compassionate behavioral healthcare. I believe in creating a safe and caring environment for people to come to understand and accept themselves, while working through life’s challenges with effective coping skills.
My Background and Approach
I work using an attachment-focused lens, noting the intersectionality between past trauma and current challenges that individuals may face, and have additional training in EMDR, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I have experience working with people across the lifespan, from adolescence to older adulthood, as well as families. I am most interested in helping individuals cope with loss, mood concerns, complex trauma, ACA issues, life transitions, as well as a general desire to delve into self-discovery for interpersonal growth and increased wellbeing. I have a deep understanding of substance use disorders and tools that aid in recovery.
