I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I have special interest in working with individuals who have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, anxiety and depression. I have experience with and enjoy working with adolescents and children with Autism, as well challenges related to deafness and hard of hearing (although not certified in ASL, I hold lived-experience in lip-reading).
I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Michigan & my Master’s degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University. I’ve had experience working as a Behavioral Tech providing ABA therapy, working within Community Mental Health, completing crisis screenings and assessments & most recently as a DBT therapist. I have worked with AmeriCorp, volunteered with the Humane Society, and enjoy advocating for others wherever I am in life.
