Thank you for your consideration in choosing to work with me and share your story. My own educational, professional and training experiences provide context for how I work with the clients in my practice.
Born and raised in Berkeley, I’m the daughter of a therapist. I attended UC Davis where I studied Women and Gender Studies as well as African American Studies. I worked for then Senator Barack Obama on Capitol Hill and also kept myself busy as the founder and event planner for UCDavis Cancer Survivors Network. After college, I joined Teach For America and taught Kindergarten in Brooklyn where I was recognized in my graduate studies in Education for using art to teach math.
My approach is warm, collaborative and sensitive to each persons unique set of needs. I believe that the mind, body and spirit must be integrated in order to achieve lasting change. My style is direct, engaging and fun. I enjoy helping people become more resourced, less stressed and more connected.
